Rajiv Gandhi Education Foundation is the pioneer in imparting free computer education since 1995 throughout Kerala and in the adjoining states. In 1998 the Foundation made tie up with Electronic Trade and Technology Corporation, Government of india and conducted its computer courses in 38 affiliated institutes in Kerala and thirteen in Karnataka and four in Tamil Nadu. Later, in 2004 when the corporation was wound up by the Government of India we shifted our affiliation to Electronic Corporation of India, for switching over to their courses and continued with their training programme in our erstwhile ET&T centres.
In 2013 we were selected as the assessing body under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India to conduct assessment in their skill training institutes. As per the mandate issued by the Ministry, we had to dispense with the training programme and discontinued all training activities throughout India. Since then the effort of the Foundation is only in assessment work.
